(WTNH)-four former CVS pharmacy technician arrested for stealing and selling prescription drugs from the workplace.
The arrest was the result of "operation Pharm team," an initiative that focuses on the illegal distribution of prescription drugs.
Today, Michael Hannon, Dorothy Grier, Kevin Winzer and Ramon Grullon all arrested in a separate criminal complaint charging each with controlled substance by fraud or misrepresentation, fraud and have these materials with the intent to sell them.
Hannon, 28, of North Haven, formerly pharmacy technician at CVS pharmacy in North Haven, allegedly stealing and selling prescription drugs include vicodin, xanax, valium and suboxone.
Grier, 24, of East Hartford, previously technician at CVS pharmacy drug store in East Hartford, allegedly stealing and selling vicoden, suboxone and klonopin.
Kevin Winzer, Old Saybrook, 20, previously technician at CVS pharmacy drug store in Old Saybrook and Ramon Grullon, 25, of Plymouth, formerly pharmacy technician at CVS pharmacy at Litchfield, both suspected of stealing and selling prescription drugs including diazepam, vicoden, and alprazolam.
